DCNG: DIRECT CONVERSION OF NATURAL GAS

DCNG IS ONE OF THE GENETT™ TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION

The GENETT™ DCNG unit offers a revolutionary, clean, and highly efficient method to monetize stranded natural gas and methane sources globally. We provide a tailored, on-site solution for creating premium-grade fuels and hydrogen.

From Methane to Market:

The Clean Conversion Process

By leveraging kinetic energy and our proprietary catalyst, GENETT™ efficiently converts feedstock in a one-step process, bypassing the complex, energy-intensive stages of conventional Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) technology.

1.

INPUT: NATURAL GAS (CH4)

We efficiently utilize various gaseous feedstocks, including stranded Natural Gas, Associated Petroleum Gas (APG), and Biogas, turning wasted resources into profit.

2.

PROCESS: GENETT™ DCNG UNIT

The conversion occurs at low temperature (<150 °C ) and moderate pressure, minimizing energy use and environmental risk. This is a 1-step process, unlike the conventional 3-step GTL.

3.

OUTPUT: DIESEL & HYDROGEN

The unit consistently produces high-value, sustainable outputs, delivered on-site for immediate use or distribution.

High-Value Outputs:

Diesel and Green Hydrogen

EN 590 Synthetic Diesel
0 %
  • Emission-Free Energy:
Direct production of H2 for use in fuel cells or industrial processes.
  • Resource Diversification:
Provides an additional high-demand energy carrier alongside liquid fuel.
  • Supports Sustainability Goals: An essential component of green initiatives and carbon-reduction efforts.
Hydrogen (H2)

  • Premium Quality: Meets strict EN 590 European standards.
  • Cleaner Burning: Significantly reduced particulate matter and NOx emissions compared to crude-derived diesel.
  • On-Site Production: Eliminates the need for complex, costly logistics and supply chains.
The GENETT™ DCNG Advantage:

One Step vs. Three Steps

Conventional Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) processes are costly, energy-intensive, and complex, requiring three primary steps:

  1.  Syngas Production
  2.  Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis,
  3.  Product Upgrading.
GENETT™ simplifies this entirely.

GENETT™ DCNG (Direct Conversion)

One Step Process: Significantly shorter and more efficient process flow. Low Temperature: Max. 150°C operation. Scalable & Modular: Designed for easy deployment and capacity expansion.

Conventional GTL

3-Step Process: High complexity and multiple failure points. Extreme Temperature: Requires significantly higher operating temperatures (often1000°C). Fixed Infrastructure: Typically requires large-scale, costly centralized facilities.
